Eyeliner

 Consultation: Free  |  Treatment: £275.00

The look of eyeliner is created to add definition to the lash line. We tattoo a thin line along the top lash line and/or the bottom lashes with a cosmetic tattoo machine, creating the illusion of fuller, darker and thicker lashes.

The outcome is natural, youthful and has an eye opening effect.

Semi-Permemant Eyeliner

Before and aftercare:

Before;

  • Come the appointment wearing no make up around the eye area

  • Remove any lash extensions at least one week before the appointment

  • Do not lift or perm your lashes at least one week before your appointment

  • Contact lenses will need to be removed during the treatment and left out for twenty four hours after

  • Do not use eyelash growth serums for three months prior to your appointment

  • Do not use Retin A products 4 weeks prior to your appointment

  • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin and ibuprofen 24hours before and after your appointment

  • Do not have any treatment (such as tinting) to the area for a week prior to our appointment

After;

  • Ease any swelling with a cold ice pack from the fridge (not freezer)

  • Do not pick, peel or scratch the area. Light scabbing and itching is normal for the area, its your body naturally healing itself. Picking increases the risk of infection and may make the area look patchy

  • Avoid sun exposure – including sun beds. The treatment area will be tender and delicate so exposure to the sun will only intensify this and increase the likelihood of complications.

  • Keep the area dry – while this may be tricky, where possible keep the area dry. Instead of washing your face in the first seven days, use a cleanser with a cotton pad rather than a face wash as you can avoid the area more easily. Obviously avoid cleansers containing alcohol, acids and strong chemicals. If you accidentally get the area wet, pat the area dry very gently using a clean tissue or cotton pad.

  • Avoid heavy exercise – for five to ten days. Walking and light exercise is permitted if it doesn’t induce sweat. Sweat is filled with salt and will begin to fade the pigment.

  • Sleep on a clean pillowcase – both on the night of your treatment then again on the following evening as this limits the spread of bacteria.

  • Avoid applying cosmetic treatments to the area, including makeup and skincare products. We recommend seven to ten days as they may induce an infection if applied round the area. Wait until the skin is back to normal.

  • Limit hot showers and baths – either avoid them during the first seven days or limit them at least. If you stay in these too long the steam will affect the treated area. We must try to keep the skin as dry as possible.

The success of aftercare if down to you. If you allow the area to heal without disruption, you will get the best out of your treatment.
